The talk shows how important it is for successful (internal or external) applications to know your own core competencies and interests and to be able to specify them precisely. You will be given suggestions and practical advice on how to work out your personal competency profile. Such a profile will not only improve your self-confidence and self-presentation but also provide orientation and sharpen your senses for job opportunities.

If these questions also concern you, then the Career Booster could be the appropriate event for you. Our four "Food for Thoughts" will guide you step by step on your way to a successful application. From "The Competency Profile as the Basis for Successful Applications", "Active Job Search: Researching - Networking - Visibility" and "How to write Successful Applications" to "Common Job Interview Questions Outside Academia".

This course can be credited to "Learn to Lead - Mindset Leadership" in the competency area Leading Yourself.
